Today I’m on the ‘Confessions of a Traveler’ blogtour, organised by Rachel’s Random Resources.
To promote this book I have a Q&As post, but before I let you read it first some ‘basic’ information.

Synopsis :

ln7Qb_MAGrotesque insect looking beasts, which burst out of your chest, and have acid for blood. Grey and short aliens with big eyes, who want to take over your mind, and they do horrible experiments with instruments that go up your anus. They’ve come to take over the world, and make you into a zombie or dinner. If they ever land in full view, they would either be worshiped and a new religion would form, or murdered immediately, and their ship parts sold to the highest bidder. Alien 597 read her report about aliens that humans had encountered.

Q&A :

First of all thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions, I really appreciate it. Here we go! 🙂

Can you, for those who don’t know you already, tell something about yourself and how you became an author?
I’ve been writing for quite some time. I write Science Fiction stories most of the time, dabble in comic drawings occasionally, and write to laugh at myself all the time. I have a computer science degree, but have been a lifelong writer. I currently live in San Antonio, Texas, and enjoy fresh air and days where my hair is not frizzy.

Which books did/do you love to read as a child/now as a grown-up?
As a grownup Simon Green novels, as a child, Choose your Own Adventure, as a teenager Beowulf and Clancy.

Is there a writer whose brain you would love to pick for advice? Who would that be and why?
Simon Green, love his characters and situations he creates in his books.

If you could, which fictional character (from your own book(s) or someone else’s) would you like to invite for tea and why?
Alien 597, so we could have a good laugh.

Do you have some rituals or habits whilst writing?
I enjoy soothing background music, with no words, and a place with no people.

Where do you come up with your idea(s)? Do people in your life need to be worried? 😉
All the world around me. The world is soothing and quiet when I write, but my ideas come about when I interact with the world around me. No need to be worried, but if your quirky, an exaggerated persona of yourself, may wind up in my book.

Are you a plotter or do you go with the flow, as a pantser?
I gotta feel it. Then I start plotting. So I come with an idea, and I dwell on it, writing it down and growing it. Then I start plotting.

Can you give novice writers some tips (do’s/don’ts)?
Keep writing, be consistent, and do what you love. Write the books you want to read.

What are your future plans as an author?
I plan to write more. There will be several more parts to this book that will be released.

Last, but not least : Can you give my readers one teaser from your book, which is featured here on my blog, please?

“Everywhere is a crisis and everyone’s looking for a hero to save them from the monsters out there. Is there anyone who can save them from their curiosity and wontedness of an elixir? The goblins, werewolves, vampires, and the three headed aliens are after them. There are books that can fill libraries on these subjects, and if one was judging fact by volume size, engineering would be made up, and vampires the gospel truth, because want and truth are two different things. Alien 597 continued reading her report on how humans are paranoid.”

Isn’t that a great reason to pick up this book and to find out more?!
Thanks once again for this lovely interview, Clara L. Molina.
